It's been a busy summer for Manchester 部隊d in the 移転 window as they look to build on last season's fourth-place finish. Hayley Barton of Stretty News TV has the 見解（をとる） from Old Trafford over what still needs to be done.?

Once again it’s been a summer of much change for Louis 先頭 Gaal at Manchester 部隊d. With the 出発s of Nani, コマドリ 先頭 Persie, Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria and Rafael, fans have been shown the 肉親，親類d of ruthlessness that Sir Alex Ferguson couldn't やめる 召集（する） in his latter years.

So many high profile 出発s however can leave a squad 欠如（する）ing in 重要な areas. In May, 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある Ed Woodward said: ‘The squad will 絶対 be 深い enough and ready to challenge on all 前線s.’?

But with the season 進行中で, it is （疑いを）晴らす that not everything has gone to 計画（する）. As much as it 苦痛s me to say, this is not yet a squad that can compete for the 首相 League.

In May, there was every 推論する／理由 for fans to be 楽観的な. The 早期に arrival of Memphis Depay encouraged belief that we were finally going to get our 商売／仕事 done 早期に. Although still raw, under 先頭 Gaal's 指導／手引 he will 繁栄する and be a big part of the club’s 未来.

But what followed was six disappointing weeks, with rumour after rumour. 失望／欲求不満 crept in from fans wondering why the club appeared to be sitting 支援する once more. At one 行う／開催する／段階 it appeared as though Depay would be the only 新規加入 before the US 小旅行する. But in true Woodward fashion, he pulled out the impossible and 調印するd Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin in the space of a week; just in time. Just like that, 部隊d's summer was looking very good indeed.

Four weeks on and everything has once again ground to a very 失望させるing 停止（させる）. With one game already gone, 部隊d are still 欠如（する）ing 質 in central defence. Chris Smalling has come on since his red card against Man City last season but he needs a 質 partner to take the defence to the next level.

Who can 実行する that 役割?

To overlook Nicolas Otamendi would be a big mistake. He made the La Liga team of the season and never looked out of his depth against the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo last season. If 部隊d are willing to 会合，会う his £35million buyout 条項, Otamendi would be the final piece in a 支援する four that 証明するd very problematic last year.

The defence is not the only area still 欠如（する）ing, though, and may not even be the biggest problem in the team.

During the game against Tottenham, 部隊d so often looked toothless in attack. Even with the seemingly 切迫した 新規加入 of Pedro there are still 問題／発行するs high up the pitch. Whether Wayne Rooney can 得点する／非難する／２０ 20-加える goals this season remains to be seen. 関わりなく that, with a 可能性のある 50 or 60 games 予定 to be played throughout the season, he cannot be relied upon to start every game.

The 選択s after Rooney are worryingly 限られた／立憲的な. They 含む Javier Hernandez, who was shipped out by 先頭 Gaal last season, and young James Wilson. Wilson is talented but does he have the 質 and experience to lead the line again the 首相 League big boys? No.

If 部隊d can’t bring in someone of the 質 of Karim Benzema or Thomas Muller, it’s time to look at 選択s like Harry Kane.

Kane would be a 危険 but not many 移転s, 特に those from outside the 首相 League, come without 危険 - just look at Di Maria.

We may just be panicking too soon. After all, Woodward 配達するd the goods last season, even if it was later than hoped. But looking 支援する now, you can’t help but feel a sense of panic buying in those moves for Di Maria and Radamel Falcao.

So why has it been left so late yet again? Was the late 商売／仕事 to 非難する for the woeful start that saw 先頭 Gaal 選ぶ up just two points from the first three games last season?

We will never know the answer to that but what we do know is the 移転 window の近くにs in just three weeks. Woodward needs to make himself a very busy man.?
