'A place to 傷をいやす／和解させる', 住宅 for 暴力／激しさ 犠牲者s to open
A woman 逃げるing 国内の 暴力／激しさ is living in a 南西 Sydney hotel room with her five children.
Her friend, Maha Abdo, has 献身的な her working life to 供給するing 住宅 and 避難 for countless women in 類似の 状況／情勢s.
"How can we sleep at night when that's happening?," Ms Abdo said on Thursday.
After １０年間s of work, Ms Abdo has received the go-ahead from the NSW 政府 to lead a new social 住宅 開発 for 攻撃を受けやすい culturally and linguistically diverse women in western Sydney.
"The image I 想像する is like a little village where you have older women, younger women and children that can both live together and have their own privacy," she said.
Ms Abdo says bringing people together from diverse communities is 重要な to ending cycles of 暴力／激しさ.
"Once people feel more 安全な, 安全な・保証する and economically stronger, hopefully, they'll be at peace with their heart and 国内の 暴力／激しさ can be 減ずるd," she said.
The $7.2 million 事業／計画（する）, 平等に 基金d by イスラム教徒 Women Australia and the NSW 政府 under the $225 million community 住宅 革新 基金, will 配達する 12 部隊s in Greenacre.
The コンビナート／複合体 will have six five-bedroom duplexes and six one-bedroom studios, with separate kitchens and bathrooms.
大臣 for Women Jodie Harrison said 国内の 暴力／激しさ 率s in 南西 Sydney had risen 16 per cent in the past five years.
"We need to support people 逃げるing 国内の 暴力／激しさ," she said.
"Not just to 供給する a 安全な place in the short 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 but also to 供給する a place to 傷をいやす／和解させる and to 回復する and to stay out of a place that puts them at その上の 危険."
