Asian 株 つまずく as 仲買人s sweat on Fed 率s

SINGAPORE, June 8 (Reuters) - Asian 株 slid on Thursday after a surprise 利益/興味 率 引き上げ(る) by Bank of Canada brought 支援する 恐れるs that U.S. 率s could stay higher for longer and the 連邦の Reserve could remain hawkish when it 会合,会うs next week.

MSCI's broadest 索引 of Asia-太平洋の 株 outside Japan was 負かす/撃墜する 0.48%, while Japan's Nikkei fell 1%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 索引 緩和するd 0.29%.

The downbeat mood looked 始める,決める to continue in Europe, with the Eurostoxx 50 未来s off 0.30%, German DAX 未来s losing 0.31% and FTSE 未来s 0.06% lower.

Canada surprised markets on Wednesday by 引き上げ(る)ing its 夜通し 率 to a 22-year high of 4.75%, with 仲買人s 推定する/予想するing another 増加する next month to 冷静な/正味の an overheating economy and stubbornly high インフレーション.

The Bank of Canada (BoC) had been on 持つ/拘留する since January to 査定する/(税金などを)課す the 衝撃 of previous 引き上げ(る)s.

The move from the BoC comes after Australia also stunned markets by 引き上げ(る)ing 利益/興味 率s earlier this week. The Reserve Bank of Australia later 警告するd of more 率 引き上げ(る)s to temper rising pricing 圧力s.

Tapas Strickland, 長,率いる of market 経済的なs at NAB, said the steps from BoC and RBA 最高潮の場面 that central banks aren't done with the 引き上げ(る)ing cycle. "Next week's U.S. 消費者物価指数 will be pivotal for whether the Fed goes in June, or skips as 広範囲にわたって telegraphed."

消費者 インフレーション data on Tuesday is 推定する/予想するd to show prices rose by 0.30% in May.

Markets are now pricing in a 64% chance of the Fed standing pat next week, compared with 78% just a day earlier, the CME FedWatch 道具 showed. 仲買人s are pricing in a 25 basis point 引き上げ(る) in July.

中国 株 緩和するd 0.12%, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng 索引 fell 0.57%.

Data on Wednesday showed May 輸出(する)s in 中国 低迷d 7.5% year-on-year, the biggest 拒絶する/低下する since January and far below the 0.4% 拒絶する/低下する 分析家s 推定する/予想するd.

"The weak 輸出(する) numbers will have 観察者/傍聴者s looking for a new 一連の会議、交渉/完成する of 政策 刺激," Saxo Markets strategists said.

財務省 産する/生じるs were stable in 早期に Asian hours after 殺到するing 夜通し after the move from Canada's central bank.

The 産する/生じる on 10-year 財務省 公式文書,認めるs was up 1.1 basis points to 3.795%, while the 産する/生じる on the 30-year 財務省 社債 was up 0.5 basis points to 3.947%.

The two-year U.S. 財務省 産する/生じる, which typically moves in step with 利益/興味 率 期待s, was up 1.7 basis points at 4.567%.

In the 通貨 market, the dollar 索引, which 対策 the U.S. 通貨 against six major peers, 緩和するd 0.038%, with the euro up 0.09% to $1.0707.

The yen 強化するd 0.22% to 139.80 per dollar after 改訂するd data showed Japan's economy grew more than 最初 thought in January-March.

The Canadian dollar rose 0.08% to 1.34 per dollar, while Turkey's リラ 攻撃する,衝突する a 記録,記録的な/記録する low against the dollar as the newly re-elected 政府 appeared to 緩和する stabilising 対策 after signalling a pivot to more 正統派の 政策s.

U.S. 天然のまま 未来s fell 0.22% to $72.37 per バーレル/樽 and Brent was at $76.76, 負かす/撃墜する 0.25% on the d ay.
