Myeloma is an incurable 血 癌 which strikes around 6,000 Brits every year. It develops from plasma 独房s in bone 骨髄 ? the spongy tissue inside large bones ? multiplying uncontrollably.
Symptoms can be difficult to distinguish from other illnesses, with 苦痛 and 疲労,(軍の)雑役 存在 tell-tale 調印するs of the illness.
Mr Windle was 診断するd with a rare type of myeloma called 'light chain' myeloma, which only 影響する/感情s about 20 per cent of 患者s with the 血 癌. Because of its 特徴, it can be even harder to (悪事,秘密などを)発見する.
For Mr Windle, the cancerous?独房s cluttered up his bone 骨髄, meaning it didn't make the useful 独房s that make and regenerate the bone, 原因(となる)ing his vertebrae to 崩壊する, doctors believe.?

'There's no one looking at a 44-year-old man who goes to the gym runs, cycles and is fit. No-one's thinking this is an incurable 癌.
'The only 問題/発行する is people aren't aware of myeloma or looking for it. I had to wait for my spine to 落ちる apart before I had any sort of 実験(する) to 明らかにする/漏らす what it is.'
