Farm life turns Jeremy soft: Clarkson becomes a 'man of the land' as new Prime series sees emotional moment his piglets die

This is the emotional moment Jeremy Clarkson consoles his girlfriend Lisa Hogan after watching their piglets die on Diddly Squat Farm, after she ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹d she could ·ë¶ÉºÇ¸å¤Ë¤Ï¡¼¤Ê¤ë with a Á°²Ê over sales at their shop.

In the ºÇ¿·¤Î trailer for the third season of Clarkson's Farm , ¥Æ¥ì¥Ó»ëÄ°¼Ôs see Hogan crying on the former ºÇ¹â¤Î¡¤¤ò±Û¤¹ Gear host shoulder as she struggles to come to ¾ò·ï with the death of a drove of rare »º¤à¡¿»ô°é¤¹¤ë pigs.

Ahead of the new season ²òÊü¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë, the actress, 50, ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ëd the new episodes showed that Clarkson, 63, was becoming 'more a man of the land than a man of the road.'

Hogan also ǧ¤á¤ë that she had been ȼ¤¦¡¿´Ø¤ï¤ëd in a 'serious conversation' over the produce the couple were µö¤¹d to sell in their Oxfordshire farm shop.

She learned through their land ¥¹¥Ñ¥¤¡¿¼¹¹Ô´± and ½õ¸À¼Ô Charlie Ireland that the shop could only sell items produced within 16 miles of their farm and ¼ºÇÔ to ½¾¤¦ would lead to a Á°²Ê.

Hogan said: 'Charlie had to have a serious conversation with me and say that I could ·ë¶ÉºÇ¸å¤Ë¤Ï¡¼¤Ê¤ë with a Á°²Ê if I didn't ½¾¤¦.

'It's ²ñµÄ µ¬Â§s which I º·É¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¦ÅÀ, ÆÃ¤Ë after Charlie explained it to me in his ¡Êµ¿¤¤¤ò¡ËÀ²¤é¤¹ and concise way.'

The couple will once again À±¡¿¼çÌò¤Ë¤¹¤ë in a third season of the show which follows their lives on the Diddly Squat Farm ¤È°ì½ï¤Ë Kaleb and Gerald Cooper.

The couple's ¤Î¶á¤¯¤Ë ¼ÒºÄ with their new piglets created the 'saddest moment' in the show so far, as they struggle with animal deaths on the farm.

³«»Ï up about the scenes, Lisa explained: 'It was heart-breaking. Jeremy's always loved pigs, I didn¡Çt think I¡Çd be that enamoured by pigs but I did get really ¤Î¶á¤¯¤Ë to them as people will see. Farming¡Çs just sad.'

She continued: 'The animals become your friends and you're ¸ÉΩ¤¹¤ëd ? there are ³Î¤«¤Ê farms that are really ¸ÉΩ¤¹¤ëd ? and the animals become your family. When they become unwell, you're losing members of your animal family.

'If that's how sad we can get in Á°Àþ of a TV ¾èÁÈ°÷, imagine the ÇÀ¶È¼Ôs that are alone and having to do it with nobody around them when they¡Çre losing animal after animal. It¡Çs so difficult.

'Every day it's emotional whether it's really happy because the Å·¸õ is perfect and you can get on with the ¿¦¶È at ¼êÅϤ¹ or it¡Çs °¥¤ì¤Ê if it¡Çs raining the ´¢¤ës are failing and you can¡Çt do a thing.

'It¡Çs very difficult to be unemotional about it. So, yes, I don¡Çt want to go against what he¡Çs said but I definitely think he¡ Çs becoming more a man of the land than a man of the road.'

Clarkson said he was keen to show ¥Æ¥ì¥Ó»ëÄ°¼Ôs 'what real farming is' and?·Ù¹ð¤¹¤ëd that life as a ÇÀ¶È¼Ô is much 'dirtier and harder' in real life.?

And scenes of ¡Ê¼ï¤ò¡Ë¼¬¤¯s ²ò¸Û¤¹¤ë¡¿Ë¤²Ð¡¿¼Í·âing out their newborns 'like machine guns' ¸ºß ½Ò¤Ù¤ëd as 'not for the faint hearted'.?

Clarkson Äɲ乤ëd: 'Farming on television has been portrayed as fresh straw, fluffy lambs, agreeable calves: a bit like Babe. I had it in my Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ë that farming was much dirtier and harder, and I always ¼êÇÛÃæ¤Î¡¤¤ª¿Ò¤Í¼Ô to show it like it ¸½¼Â¤Ë is.

'Farming doesn't have many happy endings, as we've discovered. We want to show everybody what real farming is.'

Hogan also ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹d that the couple's restaurant does not appear in the new season, as it was ·³Ââd to ¤Î¶á¤¯¤Ë É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë by the Ãϸµ¤Î ²ñµÄ, but they have been µö¤¹d to keep their gourmet food ÀèƬ to 'cook the meat from our animals'.

In another episode, a wedding Äó°Æ is ¤Ë¤Ä¤¤¤Æ¸ÀµÚ¤¹¤ëd, ¼çÍ×¤Ê Hogan to ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹ she has hopes of getting engaged to the former ºÇ¹â¤Î¡¤¤ò±Û¤¹ Gear presenter.

The pair met at a party in 2017, after ¸ºß »Ï¤á¤ë¡¤·è¤á¤ë up by Áê¸ß¤Î friends, and went public with their romance at the British GQ Awards that same year.

Clarkson has been married twice before, first to Alexandra James in 1989, but they ʬÎö¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë six months later.

He then became engaged to ¥Õ¥é¥ós Cain and they were together for more than two £±£°Ç¯´Ös before separating in 2014.

In that time, they had three children together - daughters Emily and Katya and son Finlo.
