EXCLUSIVEReeva Steenkamp's friends say they want to 'wipe the smile off Oscar Pistorius's ľÌ̤¹¤ë' after the »¦¤·²° is seen grinning 'without a care in the world' as he enjoys his freedom

Friends of Reeva Steenkamp have told of their Åܤ꡿Åܤë at seeing pictures of Oscar Pistorius smiling 'as if he hasn't a care in the world' while enjoying his freedom.

The ÉÔ̾ÍÀd former Paralympian, 37, was seen this week for the first time after serving seven years behind ˸¤²¤ë¡¿Ë¡ÄÊÛ¸î»Î¶Ès looking happy and relaxed ? as he Êó¹ð¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿²±Â¬d to the ²¾¼áÊü¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë office in Pretoria in photos ÇÓ¾Ū¤Ë ÆÀ¤ëd by the Mail.

Pistorius appeared in public wearing sunglasses in the autumn Æü¸÷ with his greying and thinning hair ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ëing that the years he has spent in ·ºÌ³½ê¡¤¹´ÃÖ½ê for the »¦¿Í of Reeva have taken their ¡Ê»à½ý¼Ô¡Ë¿ô.

But friends of the model who was ȯ¼Í by Pistorius as she cowered behind the bathroom door in the Áá´ü¤Ë hours of Valentine's Day in 2013 today ɽÌÀ¤¹¤ëd their fury at seeing him enjoying his freedom.

Reeva's friend Tania Koen told of her Èᤷ¤ß for Reeva's mother June whose husband Barry died 'from a broken heart' last year.

Ms Koen, who is also the Steenkamp family lawyer, Äɲ乤ëd: 'I feel sorry for June who is serving a life Àë¹ð¡¤È½·è. She will never get to see Reeva's smile. Ever.'

Another friend of the »¦¿Íd model, who asked not to be »Ø̾¤¹¤ëd, said: 'It is very Íð¤¹ing to see Pistorius smiling like he doesn't have a care in the world.

'If I could, I would wipe that smile off his ľÌ̤¹¤ë. I don't know how he sleeps at night for what he did.'

Now his hair is grey and thinning, and he is also believed to have become a chain smoker in ·ºÌ³½ê¡¤¹´ÃÖ½ê.

The gun-fanatic has been µö¤¹d out on ²¾¼áÊü¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë until 2029 and must ¸Ç¼¹¤¹¤ë to a number of ¾ò·ïs »Ï¤á¤ë¡¤·è¤á¤ë É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë by Atteridgeville À§Àµ Services ¸ø¼°¤Î¡¿Ìò¿Ís.

The former ¶¥µ»¼Ô can no longer be the party animal that he was before he gunned É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë Reeva in his apartment on February 14, 2013.

He is ÊĤá¤À¤·¤¿ from drinking alcohol and °·¤¦ing any Éð´ïs and must ÃΤ餻¤ë his ²¾¼áÊü¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë officers of his ¤É¤ÎÊÕ¤Ë and remain at his uncle Arnold's home during »Ï¤á¤ë¡¤·è¤á¤ë hours.

Pistorius has also been banned from giving ¥Þ¥¹¥³¥ß interviews, which will come as a ¤½¤Î¾å¤Î blow as major US talk shows were hoping to line him up as a À±¡¿¼çÌò¤Ë¤¹¤ë guest.

He remains under ¼«Âð´Æ¶Ø at his uncle's home ? and is said to pray most of the day in between playing ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª games and ·Þ¤¨¤ë¡¿´¿·Þ¤¹¤ëing friends and family.

He has the use of a swimming pool, gym and games room and when he dines with his uncle and aunt they »ý¤Ä¡¿¹´Î±¤¹¤ë ¼êÅϤ¹s and the devout Christians pray before eating.

Uncle Arnold has been a quasi-father ¿Íʪ¡¿»Ñ¡¿¿ô»ú to Pistorius since his ÀÄǯ, having taken ÀÕǤ¡¿µÁ̳ for him and siblings Aimee and Carl in the wake of the death of his mother Sheila when he was just 15.?

Sources said Pistorius rarely Å굡¡¦ÅÒ¤±¤ës out and prefers friends to visit as he is petrified Johannesburg's °Å¹õ³¹ ¿Íʪ¡¿»Ñ¡¿¿ô»ús will take Éü½² on him.

He has done some voluntary work at a nearby church. One parishioner told the New York ÃÏ°Ì¡¤Ç¤Ì¿¤¹¤ë: 'He's not friendly, not µî¤Ã¤Æ¤¤¤¯¡¿¼Ò¸òŪ¤Ê. I don't know if I've ever seen him ³ä¤ìÌÜ a smile. He's just a ±Æ¤ò¤Ä¤¯¤ë¡¿Èø¹Ô¤¹¤ë of what he once was.'

He often brought a rosary to Ë¡ÄºÛȽ½ê, and was pictured reading 'Âdz« µ§¤ê: The ÎÏ¡¿¶¯ÎϤˤ¹¤ë of Connecting with the Heart of God' by Jim Cymbal during breaks.

In January, MailOnline ÇÓ¾Ū¤Ë ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹d how Pistorius's famous 'blade Áö¼Ô' prosthetic µÓs no longer fit him after his years of inactivity in ·ºÌ³½ê¡¤¹´ÃÖ½ê - and told how he ¶²¤ì¤ës he will never be able to?run ŬÀÚ¤Ë again.

On the ¾Ú¿ÍÀÊ, it recurred as a ¼çÂê as he told the Ë¡ÄºÛȽ½ê that Ìó« was 'the thing that has got me through this past year', and discussed Steenkamp's Ìó«, ³ôing how they would pray together before meals and how she would pray 'about my training'.

During his time in ·ºÌ³½ê¡¤¹´ÃÖ½ê he started a Bible ½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ë group and led µ§¤ê ²ñ¹çs, and Êó¹ð¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿²±Â¬s ½Û´Ä¤µ¤»¤ëd around the time of his ²òÊü¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë that he was ¸¡Æ¤¤¹¤ë¡¤¹Íθ¤¹¤ëing the idea of becoming a preacher.

It was ÀßΩ¤¹¤ëd that Pistorius, who was 6ft tall in his prime on his ¿Í¹©Åª¤Ê »Í»ès, had experienced ºï¸º in the length of his remaining thighs.

Pistorius was the darling of world sport after competing in the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics before the »¦¿Í¡¤ÂçÅö¤ê ? as sponsors were Íî¤Á¤ëing over themselves to ¿½¤·¹þ¤à¡¿¿½¤·½Ð him ¾¦¶È¤Î ¼è°ú¡¤¶¨Äês.

He gunned her É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë through a ÀöÌ̽ê door in the Áá´ü¤Ë hours of Valentine's Day in 2013 and ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ëd it was an »ö¸Î as he believed an ¿¯Æþ¼Ô had entered his home.

But after a year of Ĺ°ú¤¤¤¿ Ë¡ÄºÛȽ½ê ¿³Íý¡¤¸øÄ°²ñs his Íºá¤ÎȽ·è of culpable »¦¿Í was changed to »¦¿Í. Instead of life, he was punished with a 13-and-a-half-year Àë¹ð¡¤È½·è.
