'Insane' Hamas Ĺ¡¤»ØƳ¼Ôs 'planned to INVADE ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë, kill Èó·³»ö¤Îs to ·³Ââ others to live in a Palestinian ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë - with the terror group's leaders each given their own ÃÏ°è to »ÙÇÛ¤¹¤ë'
- Hamas ¶²¤é¤¯ discussed ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës to kill, Äɤ¤½Ð¤¹ and ¶¯À©Åª¤Ë ÊÝ»ý¤¹¤ë Israelis
Hamas »Ø´ø´±s planned to ¿¯Î¬¤¹¤ë wider ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë and divide it up between the group's leaders, »¦¿Í¡¤ÂçÅö¤ê ¿¢Ì±¡¿³«Âó¼Ôs and Åý¹ç¤¹¤ëing others into a Palestinian ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë, ¤Ë¤è¤ì¤Ð a former ¸ø¼°¤Î¡¿Ìò¿Í in the West Bank.
A former high-ºÇ¹â°Ì¤Î ¸ø¼°¤Î¡¿Ìò¿Í in Fatah, a political organisation of Arab Palestinians , told Israeli ½Ð¸ý Haaretz that Hamas had long planned to 'bring ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë', going so far as to divide the ÎÎÅÚ into cantons.
'One day,?a °æ¸Í¡¿ÊÛ¸î»ÎÀÊ-known Hamas ¿Íʪ¡¿»Ñ¡¿¿ô»ú calls and tells me with pride and joy that they are ½àÈ÷¤¹¤ëing a ½½Ê¬¤Ê ̾Êí¡Ê¤ËºÜ¤»¤ë¡Ë¡¿É½¡Ê¤Ë¤¢¤²¤ë¡Ë of °Ñ°÷²ñ Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ës for the cantons that will be created in ¥Ñ¥ì¥¹¥Á¥Ê,' Iyad (not his real »Ø̾¤¹¤ë) told the ½Ð¸ý.
Iyad ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ëd he did not take talk of of 'the last Ìó«' Ëܵ¤¤Ç until 2021, when he realised 'the entire leadership had been taken Êáκ by the [Hamas leader, Yahya] Sinwar group's deranged idea of an all-out À臘¡¿À襤', per Israeli ¿·Ê¹µ¼Ô¡¿»¨»ïµ¼Ô?Shlomi Eldar.?
'So ·ø¸Ç¤Ë did they believe in the idea that Allah was with them, and that they were going to bring ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë, that they started dividing ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë into cantons, for the day after the conquest,' he said, dubbing Sinwar an 'insane fanatic'.
Iyad told the ½Ð¸ý that he was ¿½¤·¹þ¤à¡¿¿½¤·½Ðd the ¡ÊµÄĹ¡¤»Ê²ñ¤Î¡ËÃÏ°Ì¡¤Ç½ÎÏ of the Zarnuqa °Ñ°÷²ñ after the planned ¿¯Î¬, 'where my family lived before 1948'.
He ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ëd to have turned É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë the ¿½¤·¹þ¤à¡¿¿½¤·½Ð to 'lead the group that would be in ¹ðȯ¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¤¹ðÁʡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÎÁ¶â of rehabilitating the Ramle-Rehovot area' now standing in the ÃÏ°è 'on the day after the realisation of 'the last Ìó«''.
'You're out of your minds,' Iyad said he told the Hamas ¸ø¼°¤Î¡¿Ìò¿Í, asking them not to ÀÜ¿¨¤¹¤ë him again.
That year, Sinwar sent a written speech to the Hamas-sponsored 'Th e Ìó« of the Hereafter ²ñµÄ¡¿¶¨µÄ²ñ', ¡Ä¤Ë½ÐÀʤ¹¤ëd by other Palestinian groups, Ä´ºº¤¹¤ëing ½àÈ÷s for the ̤Íè ¹ÔÀ¯ of a wider ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë of Palestinian after ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë 'disappears'.
The Hamas leader said at the time the conquest of the 'ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë of the Zionists' was 'closer now than ever before', ·«¤êÊÖ¤·¸À¤¦ing À®²Ì¡¿ÅØÎÏs to bring about Hamas' 'Àïά¤Î ¸«Ä̤·' and ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës for 'what will come after it'.
¤ÎÃæ¤Ç the Êó¹ð¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿²±Â¬d ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës was a ʸ½ñ of? independence that would be 'a direct ±äĹ¡¿Â³ÊÔ of the ¶¨Äê¡¿¾òÌó of "Umar Ãù¢½ê Al-Khattab" ´Ø¿´ing Byzantine Jerusalem's ¹ßÉú¤¹¤ë to the ¥¤¥¹¥é¥à¶µÅÌ À¬Éþ¼Ô¡¿¾¡Íø¼Ôs which took place ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë in 638', a new Ä̲ß, and a call for a guide for ºÆÄê½»¤µ¤»¤ëing Æṉ̃s wishing to return.
The ²ñµÄ¡¿¶¨µÄ²ñ also recommended »ÙÇÛ¤¹¤ës for ¼è°ú¡¤¶¨Äêing with the ¥æ¥À¥ä¿Í¤Î Á´½»Ì±, ´Þ¤àing defining which would be killed, which would be µ¯Áʤ¹¤ëd, and which would be µö¤¹d to leave or remain and be Åý¹ç¤¹¤ëd into a new ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë, per American ¸¦µæ ³Ø¹»¡¿Àߤ±¤ë?MEMRI.
The ²ñµÄ¡¿¶¨µÄ²ñ also discussed the ´í¸± of a brain drain and how to ³Î¼Â¤Ë¤¹¤ë 'educated Jews and ÀìÌç²Ès in the areas of Ìô¡¿°å³Ø, ¹©³Ø, ²Ê³Ø¡Ê¹©³Ø¡Ëµ»½Ñ and Èó·³»ö¤Î and ·³¤Î »º¶È' stay - by ˸¤²¤ëing them from leaving.
Sinwar said at the time that Hamas was sponsoring this ²ñµÄ¡¿¶¨µÄ²ñ because it is in line with our ººÄ꡿ɾ²Á that victory is nigh' and that 'the ½½Ê¬¤Ê ²òÊü of ¥Ñ¥ì¥¹¥Á¥Ê from the sea to the river' is 'the heart of Hamas's Àïά¤Î ¸«Ä̤·.'?
Hamas, formed in 1987 by members of the ¥¤¥¹¥é¥à¶µÅÌ Brotherhood, has controlled the Gaza ¡ÊÅÚÃϤʤɤΡ˺ÙŤ¤°ìÊÒ since winning the 2006 µÄ²ñ¤Î Áªµós and Åݤì¤ëing ¶¥ÁèÁê¼ê party Fatah in a ÎÏ¡¿¶¯ÎϤˤ¹¤ë struggle during the ·ì¤Þ¤ß¤ì¤Î À臘¡¿À襤 of Gaza in 2007.
Fatah, the largest ÇÉȶ of the multi-party ¥Ñ¥ì¥¹¥Á¥Ê ²òÊü Organization (PLO), ÊÝ»ý¤¹¤ëd »ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë of the Palestinian ¹ñ²È¤Î Åö¶É in the West Bank through its ÂçÅýÎΡ¤¡¿¼ÒĹ and ´ÆÆĤ¹¤ës a number of Palestinian Æṉ̃ ¡Ê·³¤Î¡ËÌî±ÄÃÏ¡¤¿Ø±Äs.
Since the À臘¡¿À襤 of Gaza, Hamas has made a number of Ãçľ¤ê »î¤ß¤ë¡¿´ë¤Æ¤ës with Fatah, without ·Ñ³¤·¤Æ¤¤¤ë ¶¨Äê.
Hamas usurped the »ö¼Â¾å¤Î¡¿ÂåÍý Åö¶É in Gaza in 2006 on a ¡ÊÁªµó¤Ê¤É¤Î¡Ë±¿Æ°¤ò¤¹¤ë against ±ø¿¦ and ¸øÌ󤹤ëing to Ëä¤áΩ¤Æ¤ë land taken lost to ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë since the latter's ÀßΩ¤¹¤ëing in 1948. The Palestinians have not held Áªµós since then.
They also won support in Ìó«s to ºÆÄê½»¤µ¤»¤ë Palestinians Äɤ¤½Ð¤¹d from their land and ½êÍʪ¡¿»ñ»º¡¿ºâ»º by a °ìÏ¢¤Î major ÂçµÔ»¦s during the 1948 war, in which some 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled from their home and about 15,000 were killed in ½¸¤Þ¤ê »ÄµÔ¡Ê¹Ô°Ù¡Ës.
While Fatah, a À¤Â¯Åª¤Ê organisation looking to build a Palestinian ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë on 1967 ¹ñ¶s, carried out thousands of ¥²¥ê¥éʼ attacks on ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë, the group has worked more to ¸ò¾Ä¤¹¤ë with ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë in ºÇ¶á¤Î years, Ƚ·è¡¤ºÛÄê out ÉðÁõ¤·¤¿ Äñ¹³.
However this remains µÄÏÀ¤ÎŪ¤Ë¤Ê¤ë, with ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë ǧ¤á¤ëd ½½Ê¬¤Ê »ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë of the Palestinian economy and °ÂÁ´ »öÊÁs in more than 60 per cent of the West Bank.?
Hamas, an Islamist organisation that does not recognise ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë but ɽÌ̾å¤Ï ¼õÂ÷¤¹¤ës a Palestinian ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ë on 1967 ¹ñ¶s, remains °Õ¸«¤ÎÉÔ°ìÃפòÀ¸¤¸¤ë for its continued use of ÉðÁõ¤·¤¿ Äñ¹³ in À®²Ì¡¿ÅØÎÏs to - in their ¸«²ò¡Ê¤ò¤È¤ë¡Ë - Ëä¤áΩ¤Æ¤ë Palestinian land.?
The group organised its first ¼«»¦ ÇúÇË in 1993, destroying a bus in the West Bank carrying Israeli ʼ»Îs, »¦¿Í¡¤ÂçÅö¤ê the ¹¶·â¼Ô and a Palestinian who worked nearby.
Hamas ¹ï¡¹¤È ÀºÀ½¤¹¤ëd its techniques and engaged in ÊóÉü¤Î attacks on ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë during periods of ¾×ÆÍ.?
The perceived Äñ¹³ ¿¤Ó¡Ê¤ë¡Ëd the group support from Palestinians in Gaza - though Fatah would remain more popular until the 21st century.
A Åêɼ of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza late last year, after the October 7 attack, ÀßΩ¤¹¤ë a rise in support for Hamas in spite of the ¹ÓÇÑ of the Gaza ¡ÊÅÚÃϤʤɤΡ˺ÙŤ¤°ìÊÒ.
The Ä´ºº¤¹¤ë ÀßΩ¤¹¤ë 63 per cent also believed 'ÉðÁõ¤·¤¿ struggle' to be the most ¸ú²ÌŪ¤Ê Àïά for ãÀ®¤¹¤ëing independence - a ten per cent °ú¤¾å¤²¡Ê¤ë¡Ë in three months.
Only 13 per cent favoured Èó¡¤ÉÔ¡¤Ìµ-violent ¹³µÄ¤¹¤ë and 20 per cent ¸ò¾Äs with ¥¤¥¹¥é¥¨¥ë. Support for Hamas spikes during times of ¾×ÆÍ and Íî¤Á¤ës during Ê¿»þ¡Ê¤Î¡Ë, À¤ÏÀÄ´ºº°÷s say.
Nearly 90 per cent also believed Western-»Ù±ç¤¹¤ëd ÂçÅýÎÎ Mahmoud Abbas, Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ë of the PNA and µÄĹ¡¤»Ê²ñ¤ò̳¤á¤ë of the PLO, should ¼¿¦¤¹¤ë.
The narrative around the war is somewhat Ê£»¨¤Ë¤¹¤ëd by Àܶá to ¡Ê·Ù»¡¤Ê¤É¤Ø¤Î¡ËÌ©¹ð¡¤¹ðÁʡʾõ¡Ë.
While nearly 80 per cent of Palestinians ¡Ä¤ËÈ¿ÂФ¹¤ë the »¦¿Í¡¤ÂçÅö¤ê of Israeli Èó·³»ö¤Îs and the taking of ¿Í¼Ás, 85 per cent said they have not seen ¡Ê±Ç²è¤Î¡Ë¥Õ¥£¡¼¥È¿ô of Hamas' »ÄµÔ¡Ê¹Ô°Ù¡Ës against Èó·³»ö¤Îs on October 7.
